A family in Media, PA is seeking a caring, dependable, and engaging supportprofessional to provide one-on-one in-home and community-based support to adult woman with special needs. She is bright, personable, with strong interests in music, art, and history. She enjoys getting out into the community and exploring her interests. Responsibilities The support professional will help her strengthen everyday living skills, establish routines, pursue her interests, and participate more independently and confidently in her community. Depending on the day, activities may include: Establishing and maintaining a consistent morning routine Accompany and support her during community activities such as library programs, museums, art galleries, shopping, cultural events, and other outings. Help with meal planning, grocery shopping, and preparing meals Encourage conversation, social interaction, and community participation Help develop and practice everyday living and independence skills Qualifications Calm, patient, dependable, and able to communicate clearly Punctual and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule Experience in special education or supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities is preferred Valid driver's license. Reliable vehicle with current automobile insurance Ability to successfully complete all required background checks, safety clearances, and other employment requirements Compensation & Schedule $25.00 per hour

Tuesday:

10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Wednesday:

2:00-5:00 p.m.

Thursday:
