Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Job Description Modern Private Practice | Growth-Focused | Patient-Centered Position Overview We are a modern, technology-driven private dental practice seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, efficient, compassionate, and committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities
- Assist doctor during a wide range of procedures including restorative, crown and bridge, endodontics, and surgical procedures
- Take digital radiographs
- Fabricate temporary crowns
- Perform coronal polishing within California scope of practice
- Prepare and break down operatories efficiently
- Maintain strict infection control and sterilization protocols
- Proper instrument processing and sterilization
- Assist with clinical charting and documentation
- Support front office team when needed
- Maintain organized and efficient clinical workflow Qualifications
- Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
- Current CPR certification
- X‑ray certification
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience with digital dentistry preferred Ideal Candidate
