Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (DA/RDA) San Clemente, California | Part-Time Direct Hire | Up to $28 per Hour A-Team Dental Staffing has partnered with an established private dental practice in San Clemente, California, to recruit an experienced Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant for a part-time, direct-hire opportunity. This two-provider practice has served the community for approximately 20 years and offers comprehensive general, cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry. The ideal candidate is motivated, dependable, and comfortable working in a busy, results-driven environment. Schedule Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Part-time, direct-hire position Team members are expected to arrive approximately 10 minutes before the first patient Compensation Up to $28 per hour Compensation based on experience, qualifications, and RDA licensure Bonus opportunities available Practice Software and Technology Dentrix Practice by Numbers Denttio imaging software Papaya 3D imaging Neodent and Straumann implant systems EdgeEndo endodontic system Responsibilities Provide efficient four-handed chairside assistance Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials Assist with cosmetic and restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, composite fillings, root canals, extractions, implant placement, dentures, and Invisalign Support the practice's assisted-hygiene workflow Take diagnostic-quality digital radiographs, including FMX, bitewings, and panoramic images Record periodontal charting as directed Prepare patients for treatment and explain procedures Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Dentrix Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards Turn over treatment rooms efficiently Monitor supplies and restock treatment areas Provide postoperative instructions as directed Help maintain smooth patient flow in a fast-paced office Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and practice safety requirements Communicate effectively with providers, patients, and team members Qualified Dental Assistants and Registered Dental Assistants are encouraged to apply confidentially with an updated résumé. Requirements Previous dental assisting experience required Active California RDA license preferred but not required Current dental radiology certification Current CPR/BLS certification Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, materials, and procedures Dentrix experience strongly preferred Experience assisting with oral surgery, implants, endodontics, restorative procedures, and Invisalign is a plus Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced practice Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and outcome-focused Strong communication and patient-care skills Benefits Paid time off Vacation pay Holiday pay 401(k) Bonus structure Benefits subject to the practice's eligibility requirements
