Months Position Overview:

We are seeking Dental Hygienists to provide preventive oral health services through programs administered by the Delaware Division of Public Health, Bureau of Oral Health and Dental Services.

Responsibilities:

Conduct oral health screenings and provide oral health education. Provide preventive dental services, including: Dental prophylaxis Fluoride varnish applications Silver diamine fluoride (SDF) applications Dental sealants Participate in school-based oral health programs, including kindergarten screenings and community dental programs. Provide dental screenings and case management services in collaboration with community partners. Maintain accurate patient dental records. Prepare and maintain portable dental equipment and supplies. Follow established infection prevention and control procedures. Support community-based oral health programs and other related duties as needed.

Requirements:

Active Delaware Dental Hygiene License required. Must successfully pass Delaware and federal criminal background checks. Strong communication and patient-care skills.
