We specialize in high-end, precision dental restorations by combining cutting-edge technology with artisanal craftsmanship. We are seeking an Experienced Dental Lab Technician with expertise in removable prosthetics and appliances to join our growing team. Position Overview As an Experienced Dental Lab Technician , you will play a key role in fabricating, repairing, and customizing removable dental prosthetics and nightguards/appliances. You will work closely with our laboratory team to maintain our rigorous standards of precision, proper fit, aesthetics, and doctor satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Removables Fabrication:

Design, set teeth, wax, process, finish, and polish full and partial dentures, flexible partials, and overdentures.

Appliance Production:

Fabricate, contour, and adjust custom removable appliances, including nightguards, bite splints, retainers, and clear aligners.

Relines, Repairs & Adjustments:

Perform case repairs, relines, re-bases, and tooth additions accurately and efficiently.

Traditional Workflows:

Work with traditional ceramic layering, stain/glaze techniques, or metal/zirconia finishing based on your area of expertise.

Quality & Precision Control:

Inspect cases at every stage to ensure strict adherence to doctor prescriptions, tissue adaptation, proper occlusion, and aesthetic appeal.

Troubleshooting:

Identify potential case issues, suggest design modifications, and communicate effectively with management or clinical staff regarding complex prescriptions.

Lab Maintenance:

Maintain tools, equipment (lathes, pressure pots, vacuums, etc.), and work areas following safety, cleaning, and sanitation procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

Minimum 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in dental lab technology, with a focus on removables and dental appliances.

Technical Skill:

Proven experience in acrylic work, tooth setup, waxing, processing, and finishing of removable prosthetics, splints, and guards.

Aesthetics & Anatomy:

Deep understanding of dental morphology, occlusion, shade matching, and tissue contouring.

Technology:

Familiarity with digital workflows for removables (3D printing, digital denture software, scanning) is a strong plus.

Compliance & Privacy:

Full compliance with HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality standards.

Certification:

NBC Certified Dental Technician (CDT) in Removables is a plus, but relative hands-on experience is heavily prioritized.

Pay:

$25.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
