Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and management of patient records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Communicate effectively with young patients and their guardians to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care clearly and compassionately. Ensure adherence to all healthcare diagnosis protocols, medical terminology standards, and dental terminology during patient evaluations and documentation. Maintain a safe clinical environment by following infection control procedures and ensuring proper sterilization of instruments. Collaborate with the dental team to provide four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care delivery. Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry practices, including oral surgery techniques, orthodontics updates, and new dental fabrication methods. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with specialization in pediatric dentistry or board certification preferred. Proven experience in dental office settings or clinics specializing in pediatric care; familiarity with dental clinic workflows is highly desirable. Proficiency in using electronic health records systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate documentation. Strong knowledge of dental procedures including root canal therapy, dental extractions, orthodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placement. Deep understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.
