Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as an Associate General Dentist, where your expertise will directly impact patients' oral health and confidence! Duties Provide high-quality general dentistry services including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and prosthodontics. Perform complex procedures such as root canal therapy, dental implants, oral surgery, orthodontics, and endodontics with precision and care. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment plans effectively to patients and team members. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments utilizing medical imaging and anatomy knowledge to develop tailored treatment strategies. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Document all medical records thoroughly using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to optimize workflow efficiency and enhance patient comfort. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote ongoing wellness. Ensure compliance with all healthcare diagnosis standards and dental office policies while delivering compassionate patient care. Assist in dental fabrication processes when necessary and support the integration of new dental technologies into practice. Experience Proven experience in general dentistry within a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting. Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of dental procedures including extractions, root canals, prosthodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics is advantageous. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately.
