Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental office. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional dental care and a commitment to patient comfort and education. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing various procedures, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. A strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and patient management is essential for success in this role. The office is located right off of route 2. Duties Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health conditions. Perform a variety of dental procedures including root canal therapy, fillings, extractions, and preventive care. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment options. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure high-quality patient care. Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe clinical environment. Stay updated on advancements in pediatric dentistry and provide specialized care for children. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license with the ability to practice dentistry. Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred; familiarity with Epic software is a plus. Knowledge of dental terminology and medical records management. Strong understanding of infection control protocols and safety regulations. Experience or interest in pediatrics and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of dentistry.
