Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise in general dentistry, combined with your ability to communicate effectively and deliver compassionate care, will help foster a positive environment for patients and staff alike. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced medical imaging technology. Diagnose dental conditions accurately through the application of dental terminology and healthcare diagnosis principles. Deliver a wide range of dental treatments such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants. Utilize electronic health record systems like Open dental for documentation of medical records and treatment plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance and adhering to state healthcare regulations. Practice infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures. Collaborate with dental specialists when necessary for complex cases involving endodontics or pediatric dentistry. Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and post-care instructions to enhance client communication and satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment while following all infection control standards. Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry practices and technologies to continually improve patient care quality. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current certification in anesthesiology and pediatric dentistry preferred. Proven experience in general dentistry or dental clinic experience demonstrating proficiency in dental diagnosis, dental fabrication, and oral surgery procedures Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry, and infection control standards. Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach toward patient care. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, and implant placements confidently. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and the use of dental equipment for diagnosis and treatment planning. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws ensuring compliance at all times.
