Job Description

Locum Tenens Dentist (Mon-Thu) | Morristown, TN A thriving dental practice in Morristown, TN is seeking a skilled clinician for an ongoing locum tenens engagement, with locum-to-permanent options available. The practice serves a broad patient mix of primarily adults and children, transitioning toward expanded PPO and fee-for-service care. Clinical operations run efficiently alongside a full support team consisting of 2 Dental Assistants and a Dental Hygienist to ensure a streamlined daily workflow.

Schedule:
Monday - Thursday (Minimum 2 to 3 month commitment requested with options to extend)
Hours:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch at 12:00 PM or 12:30 PM)
Patient Volume:
12-14 procedures plus approximately 10 hygiene checks per day ($5,000/day production target)
Clinical Scope:
General dentistry, restorative care, crowns, bridges, and endodontics/root canals (required)
Tech Stack:
Dentrix Ascend Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in endodontic procedures; experience with or comfort treating Medicaid patient populations
Compensation:
Competitive pay rate + comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage (Travel and lodging accommodations provided based on production volume) What is

Credentials:
Active TN License, DEA, and current BLS certification.
Onboarding:
3-4 weeks fast-track onboarding.
Practice Fit:
High-producing, endo-proficient clinician comfortable serving Medicaid patients and seeking a consistent schedule with long-term transition potential.
