Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise in general dentistry, combined with your ability to communicate effectively and work efficiently, will contribute to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for and confident in their treatment plans. Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placements. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced tools such as digital X-rays and medical imaging technology. Develop personalized treatment plans based on accurate dental diagnosis and healthcare diagnosis principles while adhering to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare guidelines. Ensure strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques are followed during all procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation, dental records, and treatment notes using dental practice management software such as Open Dental and DTX Studio. Communicate clearly with patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions to foster trust and understanding. Collaborate with team members on four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Mentorship available on 3D printing, CAD, Invisalign, Implant planning and implant placement including sinus lifts. Surgical extraction training and Endo available as well. Efficient work flows on crown preps, veneers, and full mouth rehabs. Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry with current certification in anesthesiology and pediatric dentistry preferred. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis, dental terminology, and medical terminology. Hands-on experience with dental office software such as Open Dental or comparable systems for managing patient records efficiently. Strong knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic technique, and medical imaging procedures. Ability to perform complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental implants, oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain treatment plans clearly and empathetically. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare requirements for compliance in all aspects of patient care.
