Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assisted Living Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to residents during weekends. This role is vital in ensuring the well-being, safety, and comfort of individuals living with various cognitive, physical, and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, memory care, and long-term care environments, demonstrating a genuine commitment to enhancing residents' quality of life through attentive caregiving and personalized assistance. Schedule Every Saturday/Sunday 6am-2:30pm or Every Saturday/Sunday 6am-6:30pm Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents' health status is maintained within safe parameters. Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines. Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences while maintaining cleanliness in meal areas. Engage residents through meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction. Follow resident's rights policies diligently, ensuring dignity, privacy, and respect are upheld at all times. Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control standards and performing routine cleaning tasks. Communicate effectively with residents' families, healthcare teams, and colleagues to coordinate care plans and updates. Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of geriatrics, dementia care, memory care, and behavioral management techniques. Hands-on experience assisting with ADLs and providing personal care within long-term or home & community care settings.
