Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Active LPN or RN licensure in the state Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued Ability to perform essential nursing duties independently and confidently Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and healthcare providers Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to student-centered care Comfortable managing a variety of medical needs and following care plans with precision Reliability and punctuality, especially for scheduled bus rides

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized nursing care for a student as outlined in their care plan Monitor and document the students health status throughout the morning Administer medication and provide necessary interventions with attention to detail Assist with mobility, feeding, or other daily activities as needed Accompany and support the student on the bus, ensuring safety and comfort during transit Communicate observations, concerns, and updates to school staff and guardians promptly Take advantage of the chance to make a meaningful difference each day in a supportive educational setting.
