Job Description

Wilfong Nutrition LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered and Licensed Dietitian in the State of Texas to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience providing medical nutrition therapy from a weight neutral/non
  • diet approach as well as working with disordered eating and eating disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for clients seeking medical nutrition therapy, including but not limited to Eating Disorders, Diabetes, GI Disorders, PCOS, and Oncology.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and dietary interventions, based on a weight neutral approach, taking into consideration the individual's unique needs and goals.
  • Offer evidence-based nutrition counseling to guide clients towards a healthier relationship with food and their bodies.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition therapy.
Requirements:
  • Possess a valid and current license as a Registered Dietitian in the state of Texas.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a dietitian.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in providing medical nutrition therapy from a weight neutral and non-diet approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Empathy and understanding when working with individuals.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
