The ADON is a member of the Interdisciplinary Care Team and oversees resident care, lab /diagnostic services, anticoagulant monitoring, wound care, catheter management, psychotropic medication use, skin and weight review and Certified Nursing Assistant training and oversight. In the event that the Director of Nursing is unavailable, the ADON acts as the leader of clinical compliance for the facility.
