Job Description Seeking a Data Governance Analyst to help build and mature an enterprise data governance program from the ground up. This role will focus on defining governance policies, standards, data product frameworks, metadata management practices, and data ownership models within a federated data environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop enterprise data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
• Define data products, including ownership, SLAs, metadata requirements, and governance controls.
• Establish data contracts, schema standards, and data classification frameworks.
• Maintain governance assets, business glossaries, and metadata within Collibra.
• Partner with architecture, business, and data teams to drive governance adoption and consistency.
• Create governance documentation, processes, and operating procedures.

Skills and Requirements Requirements:

• 5+ years of Data Governance, Metadata Management, or Data Management experience.
• Strong background creating governance programs, policies, and standards.
• Experience with data products, data stewardship, metadata, classifications, and data ownership.
• Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills.
• Experience in a federated data organization.

Preferred:

• Hands-on Collibra experience (Catalog, Glossary, Metadata, Governance Workflows).
• Experience defining data products and governance operating models.
• Knowledge of data lineage, data quality, and governance frameworks.

Note:

This is a governance-focused role with no coding or development responsibilities. Collibra experience is highly preferred.
