Job Description

Job Summary Little Steps by Liam ABA New center looking for two therapists Monday-Friday 1230-430 We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will implement individualized behavioral therapy plans designed to support children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Your enthusiasm and commitment will directly impact clients' progress by providing compassionate, evidence-based interventions in various settings, including home and school environments. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education. Duties Provide one to one ABA therapy to children in our center Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans Implement ABA therapy protocols as prescribed by supervising behavior analysts, ensuring consistency and fidelity Support clients in developing communication, social, and self-care skills through engaging teaching strategies Maintain detailed medical documentation, client records, and care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations Communicate effectively with clients' families, caregivers, teachers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care Support behavior management strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and reinforce positive behaviors Requirements High school diploma or GED Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and behavior management techniques Ability to collect, analyze, and report behavioral data accurately and efficiently Experience working in home-based or school-based behavioral therapy settings is preferred Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to foster client trust and engagement Preferred having at least one year experience working with individuals with autism. Pay:
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
