Duration:

1 year contract with the option of 4 one-year extensions

Shift Schedule:

Days, weekends, and holidays, 40 hrs/week baseline

Credentialing/Onboarding Time:

6 8 weeks

Certifications:

BLS (American Heart Association)

Special Skills Needed:

Safe Patient Handling equipment and techniques Recognizing and reporting patient behavioral/status changes PACS-based teleradiology transmission and fax of patient data sheets (relevant Health Tech duties)

Responsibilities:

Patient mobility assistance (wheelchair, stretcher, medical bed transport) within Radiology and other VAMC departments; Assisting clinical staff during codes/emergencies; transmitting archived exams to teleradiology providers Prime Physicians is a physician-led, The Joint Commission (TJC) Accredited, ISO 9001 certified and CMMI Level 3 appraised organization.
