  • About the Role
  • We are a high-volume pediatric clinic seeking an experienced Patient Access & Scheduling Coordinator to join our front office team. This role combines insurance authorizations, patient scheduling, and basic office management to keep our clinic running smoothly for our patients and families.
  • Responsibilities
  • Obtain and track prior authorizations and insurance referrals for pediatric services and procedures
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments across multiple providers in a fast
  • paced, high-volume environment
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to visits
  • Manage day-to-day front office operations, including supplies, workflow coordination, and support for clinical staff
  • Communicate with insurance carriers, families, and providers to resolve authorization or scheduling issues
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the practice management/EMR system
  • Assist with other administrative duties as needed to support clinic operations
  • Qualifications
  • Prior experience with insurance authorizations required
  • Prior experience with patient scheduling required
  • Experience in basic office management (supply ordering, workflow support, front desk operations)
  • Experience in a high-volume clinic setting required
  • Pediatric clinic experience strongly preferred
  • Raintree EMR/practice management software experience preferred
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
