Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as a vital link between patients and providers, managing patient care plans, scheduling, and insurance verification. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and a thorough understanding of medical terminology and billing procedures. The Treatment Coordinator will ensure seamless patient experiences while supporting the clinical staff with administrative tasks and documentation review. Responsibilities Coordinate patient treatment plans, including scheduling appointments and follow-ups Verify insurance coverage and benefits using systems such as Denticon Review medical records for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist patients with intake procedures, explaining treatment options and financial responsibilities Manage documentation review related to the dental billing processes Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers via multi-line phone systems and front desk support Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and billing information using Google Drive and other office management software Support administrative functions such as filing, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and data entry with high attention to detail Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA guidelines while handling sensitive health information Provide exceptional patient service by demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and clear communication Experience Prior experience in a medical office setting or clinic environment is highly preferred Familiarity with Denticon and Weave is favored Knowledge of dental terminology processes, and health information management practices is required Experience in dental or medical billing and insurance verification is advantageous Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing and office management software Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems and maintain professionalism in all interactions Bilingual abilities are a plus but not mandatory; clinic experience is preferred for familiarity with healthcare workflows This position offers an engaging environment where your organizational skills and healthcare knowledge will directly impact patient care quality.
