Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Mental Health Clinical Supervisor to lead our behavioral health team in delivering comprehensive mental health and behavioral care. In this vital role, you will oversee clinical operations, supervise staff, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults with various mental health conditions. Responsibilities Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to licensed clinicians, case managers, and support staff, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and regulatory requirements. Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing patient care documentation within electronic health records (EHR) systems while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Lead individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as behavioral therapy, social work techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and trauma-informed care including PTSD management. Manage crisis intervention efforts promptly and effectively, coordinating with emergency services when necessary to ensure client safety. Facilitate case management activities by coordinating services across home, community care settings, schools (including special education), and healthcare providers for clients with neurodevelopmental disorders or co-occurring substance use disorders. Conduct clinical research or data collection initiatives to improve service delivery quality and outcomes. Supervise clinical team members' documentation of medical records using medical terminology and CPT/ICD coding for billing purposes. Experience Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder. Demonstrated expertise in behavioral health modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, addiction counseling, and behavior management strategies. Prior supervisory or clinical leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams within mental health or behavioral health settings. Strong background in crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, and working with individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders involving mental health and substance use. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems such as EMR/EHR management platforms; understanding of medical documentation standards and medical terminology. Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds and families to deliver culturally competent client communication and child & family counseling. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations governing patient privacy and confidentiality; experience working within hospital or outpatient settings is preferred. $69,320.52 - $87,482.78 per year
