How you'll contribute The Histologist performs a variety of routine laboratory duties in the preparation and processing of histopathological specimens to assist in diagnosis and treatment of disease. This position includes staining and processing of cytology specimens, record keeping including slides, blocks and reports. Meets turn-around-time standards. Maintains orderly filing system for block and slides. Block and slide prep completed accurately. Orders Histo/Cyto supplies. Correct entry of information into Windowpath computer system. Statistical/QA reports complete and timely. Maintenance is performed adequately on equipment. What we're looking for
