This is a 2:1 support case, meaning two staff members will be assigned to provide care and support.
Pay:
$24/hour
Location:
New Milford, CT Positions Available:
2 caregivers (2 females, or 1 male & 1 female) - CAR
IS REQUIRED
Schedule:
Day Support:
17.5 hours per week
IHS Support:
36.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM Additional hours may be available based on the client's needs
Responsibilities:
Provide direct support and supervision Assist with daily living activities Support community activities and appointments Ensure the individual's safety and well-being Follow the individual's care and support plan Communicate effectively with the client, family, and care team Complete required documentation
Qualifications:
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Reliable and compassionate Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be dependable and committed to the scheduled hours Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred/required if transportation is part of the assignment
Staffing Note:
We are hiring two caregivers for this 2:1 case. Staffing needs may include a female caregiver or a male/female caregiver combination based on the individual's care needs and assignment requirements.
