Job Summary We are immediately seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and well-being of clients by delivering personalized care tailored to their unique needs. This role requires a commitment to maintaining resident rights and promoting independence while providing high-quality care. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming. Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life. Maintain a clean and safe environment in the home, adhering to health and safety standards. Respect resident rights and maintain confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to develop care plans that meet individual needs. Skills Proficiency in long-term care practices and home community care techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively when assisting clients. Strong understanding of resident rights and the importance of dignity in care. Capability to monitor vital signs accurately and respond appropriately to changes in health status. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate nature with a strong desire to provide direct support to individuals in need of assistance.
