- Franklin, IN We are currently a seeking dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work with a client who requires confident support. Applicants must be able to manage behaviors and remain calm, professional, and consistent in a charged environment. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral support needs is preferred but not necessary. Must be able to follow detailed directions. Position Description The Direct Support Professional (DSP) assists individuals in achieving the quality of life they desire while promoting dignity, independence, and respect. DSPs provide support through teaching, guidance, encouragement, and positive behavioral support strategies. Some positions require supporting individuals with higher behavioral support needs. Successful candidates will be patient, consistent, calm under pressure, and committed to building trusting relationships while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Ideal for candidates with experience in behavioral support, mental health, youth services, residential care, corrections, security, or crisis intervention. Qualifications, Skills & Abilities Ability to provide individualized care and support Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Problem-solving skills in accordance with policies and procedures Ability to assist individuals with financial and daily living needs Basic cooking and housekeeping skills High school diploma or equivalent required Caregiving experience preferred (1 year) Key Responsibilities Promote and protect the dignity and rights of individuals served Provide daily support services based on individual needs Encourage independence and informed decision-making Build positive, respectful relationships Serve as a positive role model Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Support individuals in maintaining a clean, personalized home environment Assist with personal appearance and hygiene as needed Facilitate community involvement and meaningful activities Communicate effectively with team members and complete required documentation Schedule Must work every other weekend!

Available Shifts:
