Job Summary We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Forging Technicians to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will support the forging process by operating machinery, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring quality standards are met. About IBC:

IBC utilizes open die forging to create copper alloy products in the aerospace, electronic, oil and gas and other commercial industries.

Forging Technician:

We are looking for an additional team member to join our forging team who can assist in forging raw blocks into desirable shape. Your job is focused on the working and shaping of copper alloys, utilizing forklifts and manipulators to position parts on the forging machines to create the shapes and sizes that are desired. This position is full time with potential for overtime to satisfy customer demands. Successful candidates will be self-motivators who don't need constant supervision, can assimilate, and work cohesively as part of the forging team, and can uphold the responsibility of driving large forklifts and manipulators. IBC is looking for an individual who is dedicated and willing to commit to long term employment, current employees experience levels range from 5 to 32 years of employment. Hands on training is provided for all forging operations and certifications for forklifts and manipulators. Merit pay increases available as knowledge and skill levels are obtained.

Essential Duties:

(list in order of importance and list amount of time spent on task) Work in a team environment with manipulators, molds, and dies to shape raw materials into finished products (40%) Operate industrial equipment such as band saws, fork trucks, manipulators, etc. (20%) Operate fork trucks to load and unload forging furnaces as required (10%) Assist with routine preventative maintenance of saw and forge equipment (10%) Perform quality inspections of products for dimensional data (20%) Minimum requirements Must be able to work in a team environment Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently, up to 100lbs occasionally Must be able to stand for long periods of time in a hot work environment Must be capable of repetitive motion with good hand to eye coordination Good practical and problem solving ability Must be able to measure and calculate weights and basic dimensions Good verbal communication skills Ability to pass required pre-employment physical and drug screening Ability to pass background check

Additional Skills/Experience Preferred:

• Previous Hammer/Forging Operation experience is preferable but will train.
• Forklift operation skills are a plus
