Job Description
Overview Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and personal needs. This energetic role offers the opportunity to provide essential care, promote independence, and enhance quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those in long-term care settings. We are dedicated to fostering a positive environment where your caregiving skills are valued and your efforts truly impact our clients' well-being. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration to ensure health stability Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental and emotional health Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by performing light housekeeping and sanitation tasks Monday through Friday Morning shift Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia management, memory care, and behavioral management techniques Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training is encouraged, but not required Ability to operate a standard passenger car for client transportation when necessary Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely Valid driver's license and clean driving record for driving responsibilities Must Pass Background Join us if you're passionate about providing compassionate care that empowers individuals to live their best lives.
