Duties Prepare and analyze samples using various laboratory techniques, including molecular biology, microbiology, histology, and cell culture methods. Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards. Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Follow strict laboratory safety protocols, including chemical handling safety procedures and sterile techniques to prevent contamination. Assist in quality control processes by monitoring experimental results, troubleshooting issues, and documenting findings precisely. Support research projects by collecting data, performing analysis, and preparing reports for review by senior scientists. Ensure laboratory compliance with FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and other relevant standards for research and clinical testing. Requirements Proven experience working in an industrial or clinical laboratory setting with knowledge of GLP, CGMP, and FDA regulations. Strong understanding of animal physiology, microbiology, histology, molecular biology techniques, and sterile laboratory procedures. Proficiency in laboratory information management systems (LIMS), Microsoft Office suite, and data collection tools. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to follow complex laboratory procedures accurately. Experience with laboratory instruments such as microscopes, centrifuges, pipettes, spectrophotometers, and other scientific equipment. Ability to maintain meticulous records of experiments and adhere to laboratory standard operating procedures. Familiarity with veterinary terminology is a plus; however, strong research laboratory experience is essential. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a team environment while managing multiple tasks independently. Strong math skills for data analysis and interpretation within research settings.
