Position Overview GTI Laboratories is seeking a Full-Time Laboratory Assistant to support operations at our Dallas, Texas laboratory . This role is ideal for individuals who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a dynamic lab setting. You'll play a critical role in ensuring specimens are properly processed, tracked, and prepared for testing—directly supporting the accuracy and efficiency of our laboratory operations. What You'll Do Sort incoming samples by department (PCR, PGX, Toxicology) Perform pre-accessioning and accessioning of specimens Assign tracking numbers and enter patient and insurance information into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness Assist laboratory technicians with sample preparation and handling Maintain accurate logs and documentation of laboratory activities Ensure proper specimen handling and organization throughout workflow Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace Support equipment upkeep and general lab operations Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and participate in ongoing training

10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Occasional Monday coverage as needed for operational continuity What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED (required) Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (preferred) Prior lab experience or research exposure (preferred) Experience in fast-paced or detail-oriented environments (acceptable alternative) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain focused and accurate under pressure Basic computer proficiency and data entry experience
Pay & Benefits Pay:
