The LT-I ensures that all laboratory procedures are conducted in compliance with

regulations and works under the supervision of the Technical Supervisor and General Supervisor. The LT-I follows and maintains knowledge of all laboratory procedures, excellent communication with all personnel, and fulfills other tasks as instructed. Essential Functions Ensure the confidentiality of patient information throughout all phases of laboratory testing. Performs sample preparations for screening and confirmation testing Maintain lab established turnaround time. Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and quality requirements Properly record results for further analysis and easy reference Monitor inventory samples and supplies Maintain a clean work environment Perform and document all laboratory logs Identify problems that may adversely affect patient test results Perform proficiency testing and/or split sample analysis periodically as outlined by laboratory protocol. Perform all quality assessment as assigned Retain record of all analytical activities performed for a minimum of 2 years. Monitor reagent, standard and quality control expiration date Work under the supervision of a laboratory technologist Participate in continuing education Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure quality control Good attendance is expected of all employees as a normal condition of work Other duties as requested Competencies Maintain strict adherence to Standard operating procedure.
