The Analytical Sciences Technician reports to the Analytical Sciences Manager. Key Responsibilities Prepare, label, and document samples according to the standard procedure. Perform routine, semi-routine, and complex duties associated with various aspects of analytical testing according to the standard laboratory procedures. Prepare reagents, buffers, and samples. Maintain accurate records and report test results in a timely manner. Clean and maintain all glassware and equipment. Operates laboratory equipment as detailed in the laboratory procedure. Participate in training to improve the accuracy, precision, and efficiency. Perform other laboratory tasks when needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements Education and Experience B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or a related field. Skills and Competencies Excellent laboratory skills. Detail-oriented. Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills. Basic computer, including Microsoft Excel, and math skills are preferred. Ability to work as a team member and independently.
