We are seeking a compassionate and experienced LPN to provide one-on-one care for a medically fragile third grader in a school setting. This rewarding contract position allows you to make a daily difference in the life of a student who requires dedicated support throughout the school day, including assistance during transportation.

What Were Looking For:

Current LPN/LVN license and school nursing experience Proficiency with tracheostomy care and management Confidence in managing G-tubes, seizure disorders, and medically complex cases Ability to provide frequent suctioning and respond promptly to students needs Compassion and patience supporting a child with limited vision Physical capability to assist with lifting, when needed (with support from onsite staff) Willingness to ride the bus with the student (accommodations may be considered for the right candidate) Quick availability to ensure seamless care, as the school year has already commenced

What Youll Do:

Deliver vigilant one-on-one care to a medically involved elementary student throughout the school day Monitor for and respond to seizures, respiratory challenges, and other acute health needs Administer proper tracheostomy and G-tube management, including frequent suctioning Support the student with transfers and lifting, collaborating with on-site staff Facilitate safe transport by accompanying the student on the school bus as needed Communicate effectively with the educational and clinical team This is your chance to bring both clinical expertise and heartfelt care to a school community, enhancing life and learning for a deserving child.
