Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific muscle groups and pain points Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, conditions, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapy plans for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient responses, and progress in compliance with health regulations Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive pain management strategies Ensure a safe, comfortable environment by adhering to occupational health standards and sanitation protocols Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Experience Proven experience in providing therapeutic massage services, preferably within a med spa or clinical setting Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments Hands-on expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities aimed at pain relief and muscle recovery Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build trusting relationships Familiarity with occupational health standards and best practices for ensuring client safety during treatments Prior experience working in a med spa environment is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates interested in expanding their skill set Embark on a rewarding career where your healing touch makes a real difference!
