Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for providing exceptional patient service and possess a strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Experience in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and acute pain management is highly valued. Responsibilities
- Perform various massage techniques to address patient needs
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate massage treatments
- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of physiology during treatments
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa or occupational health setting
- Provide therapeutic massages for acute pain management
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Qualifications
- Certification or licensure as a Massage Therapist
- Proficiency in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience working in a med spa or occupational health environment is a plus
- Excellent patient service skills and the ability to assess patient needs efficiently
