Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Sports Massage Therapist to join our wellness team (Part-Time). In this role, you will deliver specialized massage therapy services tailored to athletes, active individuals, and clients seeking pain relief and recovery support. Your expertise will help clients optimize their performance, recover from injuries, and maintain overall physical well-being. This position offers flexible scheduling opportunities for motivated professionals passionate about sports health and patient care. Responsibilities Provide expert sports massage therapy sessions focusing on deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies. Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify specific needs, muscle imbalances, and injury risks. Develop personalized treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and medical terminology. Educate clients on injury prevention, occupational health practices, and self-care routines to enhance recovery outcomes. Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment notes, and session details in compliance with health standards. Stay current with industry best practices by participating in ongoing education related to med spa treatments and sports therapy advancements. Ensure a welcoming environment that emphasizes patient service excellence and customer satisfaction. Experience Proven experience in providing sports massage therapy, ideally within a med spa or clinical setting. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to sports and injury recovery. Skilled in deep tissue massage techniques, trigger point therapy, and other modalities used for pain relief and muscle rehabilitation. Prior experience assessing patients' conditions through patient assessment procedures to tailor effective treatment plans. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building trust and ensuring client comfort throughout sessions. Familiarity with occupational health principles and best practices for injury prevention in active populations. Demonstrated ability to work independently as a contractor while maintaining high standards of professionalism and care.
