Dr. V, a precision oncologist and former chief trauma, vascular, and general surgeon with over 40 years of experience, uses her diverse and extensive background in the medical field to devise new ways to treat cancer at the cellular level. Dr. V holds a degree in Biochemistry and an M.D., both from Columbia University. This job is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in furthering their education in the practice of integrative medicine & cutting-edge cancer treatments, as well as preventative, wellness treatments.

Duties to include:

Assist with lab/medical record requisitions Assist with authorization requests Maintain an organized and clean work environment as per state health regulations and Physician's standards Interview patients, measure vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height) and record information on patients' charts Room patients Turnover rooms Assist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the physician Assist nursing team Basic cleaning of IV rooms daily and laundry

Requirements/Education:

Certified Medical Assistant 1 year experience preferred Possess knowledge of the medical field and medical terminology Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations and multi-task in a busy, small office environment Phlebotomy certification and skills a plus Compassion and kindness is a must in our office! The pay is based on experience.
