This position plays a key role in supporting providers, managing clinical workflows, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience in a fast paced medical office environment. If you are organized, compassionate, and skilled in both clinical and administrative tasks, we want to meet you. This job will start as a part-time and transition to a full-time. Duties Perform patient intake by collecting medical histories and vital signs with accuracy and compassion. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently, documenting patient information, ICD coding, and treatment details clearly. Support patient care activities including specimen collection, wound dressing changes, and basic life support procedures. Facilitate communication between patients and providers by answering questions, scheduling follow-ups, and coordinating referrals for specialties like geriatrics or medical-surgical services. Maintain clinical supplies, sterilize equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards for outpatient clinics or hospital environments. Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting; Primary Care or family medicine experience preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medical terminology to accurately support clinical documentation. Hands-on experience with EHR systems for patient data entry and management. eClinicalWorks prior experience is ideal. Familiarity with medication administration protocols in outpatient contexts is a plus. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred; Florida certified MA strongly valued. Excellent communication, patient service, and multitasking skills. Bilingual English-Spanish required. High School diploma or equivalent.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
