Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of patient information, medical histories, diagnoses (ICD coding), and treatment plans. Conduct patient intake processes, verify insurance details, and assist with appointment scheduling to optimize clinic flow. Perform clinical tasks such as collecting specimens for lab testing, performing basic physiology assessments, and maintaining sterile techniques in outpatient or inpatient settings. Assist with hospital medicine activities or emergency medicine protocols in Level I or Level II trauma centers when applicable. Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring a comfortable experience throughout their visit. Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar medical office role with familiarity in outpatient care, Doctor's offices Knowledge of dermatology procedures, pharmacology basics, anatomy and physiology principles, and medical terminology. Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) management tools. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications such as phlebotomy or medication administration are a plus. Strong organizational skills with experience managing medical records and documentation accurately.
