Our offices are located in Maplewood, Woodbury, and Mendota Heights/Lilydale (MN), and this candidate will need to be open to working in all locations. We are looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team. Willing and able to get Certification within 12 months. Position Summary Greet and room patients in a prompt, professional manner while rendering the highest possible level of care. Clinical Under the direction of a provider, the medical assistant will perform chemical, microscopic, gynecologic, hematological, parasitic and bacteriologic tests for use in treatment and diagnosis of disease. The medical assistant will provide support to providers and patients with respect to rooming patients, assisting with in-office procedures, performing blood draws, taking vital signs of patients, administering medications under supervision of provider, and giving injections as necessary. The medical assistant will also be responsible for ordering clinical supplies/equipment whenever needed. Teamwork is essential for the efficiency and success of the clinical and scheduling environment at MetroPartners Obstetrics & Gynecology, P.A. Qualifications CPR Certified Phlebotomy Certification is a plus

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. while handling patients, medical equipment and supplies. Must have the ability to react and perform in stressful situations and move quickly throughout the clinic.
