We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and Certified Medical Assistant who will seamlessly join our expert team. You must be able to demonstrate a positive demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a professional appearance and approach. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of clinical medical office experience and be certified in medical assisting. Please review qualifications before applying. We are seeking an individual who is able to handle a wide range of medical tasks, as well as administrative duties. The ideal candidate must be exceedingly well organized, extremely detail oriented, friendly, patient oriented, punctual, and always striving to exceed expectations. Duties include, but are not limited to: Providing basic patient care duties such as taking vital signs, weights, assisting patient with ambulation, dressing and undressing for examination Obtaining and accurately documenting patient information within our electronic medical record software Completing medication reviews Providing support and assistance to patients as needed Reinforcing instructions to enhance patient understanding and adherence to treatment and plan of care Collecting and preparing lab specimens and completing associated paperwork, forms, and documentation to expedite laboratory studies with accuracy and efficiency Scribing medical notes Communicating with pharmacies to obtain patient medication lists Obtaining prior authorization for patient medication Obtaining prior authorization for medical imaging Taking inventory of medical supplies based on appropriate inventory levels Checking for expired items and removing expired supplies from inventory Cleaning equipment and routinely inspecting the condition and operation of the equipment Cleaning and preparing exam rooms between patients Assuring the adequate stock of supplies and equipment in rooms

Monday - Thursday (8:45 am - 7:00 pm)
