The Senior Medical Assistant will play a key role in supporting the supervising physician (MD) at our Sugar Land location, dealing with complex patients and contributing to a positive patient experience. Seeking candidates with at least 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant or a similar clinic based patient facing role. The candidate must possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality care. Training and guidance will be provided on the job, and need to be willing to learn. Responsibilities for the job are (but not limited to) as follows: Conduct patient intake, update patients' chief complaint, medical history, medication list, and take vitals Stocks and cleans patient rooms before appointment, after appointment, and at the end of the day Maintaining patient records Assisting providers with key tasks/ procedures Answering phones and triage patient requests and questions Managing messages inbox for the physician Working efficiently in a fast-paced high patient volume clinic
