Job Description Lead, build, and make an impact in rural healthcare. TeamHealth is seeking an experienced primary care physician to serve as medical director for a new rural health clinic expanding access to high-quality, integrated healthcare throughout Locust, North Carolina, and surrounding communities. This employed position combines direct patient care and physician leadership responsibilities in a collaborative, team-based rural healthcare environment. The role will initially be part-time with the opportunity to transition to a full-time position as patient volume and clinic growth support expansion. The Medical Director will provide physician leadership, mentor advanced practice clinicians, support quality and regulatory initiatives, and partner with operational leadership to help establish a sustainable, patient-centered rural healthcare practice.
