Job Description
Job Type Part-time Description Professional Care Medical Practices PC ("Professional Care") is a private, physician founded, nationally accredited correctional health care practice. Professional Care provides comprehensive medical & mental health care services in the state of New York. Correctional health care is a unique, challenging, and exciting opportunity for today's medical professional in that it provides the ability to truly utilize all of your learned medical skills and knowledge on a daily basis. It is the perfect hybrid of Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine; providing care to an under-served, diverse, and appreciative patient population. We are currently looking for a Part Time - Physician / Medical Director to join our team and provide on-site medical care at the Genesee County Jail in Batavia, NY and Orleans County Jail in Albion, NY. This is a flexible Part-Time position, 12-16 hours of on-site care per week. Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York. Board Certified or Board Eligible. Maintain current DEA number and eligible to prescribe medications in New York state. Maintain active BLS (i.e., CPR) certification. Maintain current Driver's License. Salary Description 130.00 - 170.00 per hour
