Job Description

Seeking a part-time front desk person for a growing physical therapy practice. Hours would be Monday through Thursday 3:30-7:30pm
Key Responsibilities Patient Interaction:
Greet patients, provide assistance, and ensure a positive first impression.
Scheduling & Communication:
Answer phones, manage calls, book, cancel, and reschedule appointments, and send reminders to reduce no-shows.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain patient files, manage paperwork, and handle daily office tasks.
Financial & Insurance Duties:
Collect co-pays, process payments, and assist with insurance pre-authorizations and billing.
Office Maintenance:
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Record Keeping:
Update electronic health records (EHR) with patient and financial information accurately and efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications Customer Service:
Friendly, welcoming, and empathetic attitude.
Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage schedules, paperwork, and office flow effectively.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and insurance providers.
Computer Proficiency:
Experience with data entry, scheduling software, and EMR/EHR systems (preferred not required. Will train)
Multitasking:
Ability to handle various duties simultaneously in a busy environment. Attention to
Detail:
Accuracy in handling patient information and financial transactions.
Teamwork:
Ability to work cooperatively with the entire clinical team.
Job Type:
Part-time Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
