We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused professional with prior experience in an ophthalmology practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ophthalmic clinical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient work-ups, including: Medical history Visual acuity Pupil assessment Extraocular muscle assessment Perform ophthalmic pretesting, including: Refraction Visual field testing OCT Biometry Fundus photography Assist with patient flow and provide a positive, professional patient experience. Perform front-desk and medical receptionist duties as needed. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Work efficiently under general supervision while demonstrating sound judgment and attention to detail. Collaborate with physicians and other staff members to ensure smooth daily operations. Qualifications 1 year of related ophthalmology experience preferred. Prior experience as an ophthalmic technician and/or medical receptionist strongly preferred. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within an ophthalmology practice. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced clinical environment. Must be comfortable working independently as well as being a team player.
