Job Description

Hiring Immediately! Wage includes monthly bonus money, but not shift premium. Administers prescribed medications to residents and maintains related medical records under supervision of the Director of Resident Care Follows the service plan in providing service to the resident Answers resident response system to determine resident's needs and responds accordingly Assists residents in the activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, mobility and assisting in examinations and treatments Assists resident with oxygen and other medical problems as outlined in the service plan Monitors health, safety and well-being of the residents Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rates and blood sugar checks as outlined in the service plan Contacts residents physician to report a change in resident condition Safely administers resident medications and access resident responses Responds to resident emergencies-provides first aid assistance and arranges for appropriate medical attention and follow up Process orders received for residents to maintain supply of medications through pharmacy. Supervise unit during shift to include caregivers. Knowledge and Experience High School Diploma/GED Experience Med Passer Working Conditions Potential exposure to blood borne pathogens, communicable diseases, fumes or airborne particles Holiday and weekend work required
