Job Description

Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact supporting students as a Paraprofessional on a contract basis. In this role, you'll work closely with classroom teachers and educational staff to provide essential assistance in both academic and behavioral support. Your dedication will help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of all abilities.
Key Qualifications:
Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is preferred Ability to assist with instruction and adapt to various learning needs Excellent communication and teamwork skills Comfortable working one-on-one or in small groups with students Patience, flexibility, and a genuine desire to help students succeed High school diploma or equivalent required
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide instructional support under the direction of classroom teachers Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations Assist students with classwork, organization, and social skills Promote a safe, respectful, and positive school environment Support students in navigating classroom routines and transitions Monitor student progress and report observations to certified staff Contribute to classroom management and behavior support as needed
