Key Responsibilities:

Provide substitute paraprofessional coverage for multiple district schools within an assigned crew (Champlin Park, Coon Rapids, Blaine, Anoka, Andover, or the Rivertrail Learning Center). Support students in SPED classrooms, including those with behavioral support needs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Realize flexibility as schedules may range; typical elementary hours are approximately 9:10am4:10pm. Assist with toileting and basic care when necessary, understanding the importance of compassion and professionalism. Communicate proactively with crew supervisors via text to coordinate assignments and respond to call-outs efficiently. Maintain consistent professionalism when engaging with students, educators, and school staff.

Qualifications:

Must meet Minnesotas highly qualified paraprofessional standard by: passing the MN Para Educator Exam, OR providing transcripts confirming at least 60 college credits (degrees alone aren't sufficient). Demonstrated school or behavioral classroom experience. Reliable transportation to travel throughout the district as needed. Flexible, adaptable nature and ability to manage a changing work environment.
