Role Description The Certified Behavioral Assistant will provide in-home behavioral support to children and youth ages 5-19 and their families in Irvington, NJ. This part-time, on-site role involves implementing individualized behavior support plans, modeling effective strategies for caregivers, and reinforcing positive behaviors in daily routines. The Behavioral Assistant will collaborate with clinicians, family members, and school or community partners to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed. Responsibilities include documenting sessions, tracking goals, and maintaining clear, timely communication with the treatment team. The role also requires maintaining professional boundaries, adhering to agency policies, and ensuring services are delivered in a respectful, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive manner. Qualifications Behavioral support and intervention skills, including implementing behavior plans and using positive reinforcement strategies.
