Salem, OR Job Details Full-time $22 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications HIPAA High school diploma or GED Bachelor's degree Human Services Social Work Full Job Description Job Overview The Qualified Mental Health Associate (QHMA) provides direct mental health services and supports to individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges. Working under the supervision of a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or other licensed clinician, the QHMA assists clients in developing skills that promote recovery, independence, and improved quality of life. Services are delivered in accordance with Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR), organizational policies, and trauma-informed, person-centered care principles. Duties Facilitates group therapy sessions for clients under supervision of the Clinical Supervisor Assists clients in case management as needed Assesses client attitudes and progress regarding treatment, self-esteem, social adjustment, vacation and family issues. Support clients in accessing community resources, appointments, housing, employment, education, and other recovery supports. Maintains accurate client records Assists assigned clients in aftercare planning. Documents client's notes and progress in the Electronic Health Record Attends staff meetings and in-service training as scheduled. Ensures confidentiality of client as required by 42CFR Part II and HIPPA regulations Experience/Education Required Meets Oregon Qualified Mental Health Associate (QHMA) requirements as defined by Oregon Administrative Rules. Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field; or A high school diploma with a combination of education, training, and relevant experience that qualifies under Oregon QHMA standards. Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health conditions, substance use disorders, or co-occurring disorders preferred. Must be able to pass fingerprint background check. Must be able to work collaboratively in a rural multicultural setting.

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
